Last Will and Testament of Anne Moore of Tewkesbury. Widow.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me, Anne Moore of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, widow. First I direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid by my executor, hereinafter named, out of my personal estate. And I desire that I may be buried in a suitable and respectable manner in Tewkesbury Abbey Church Yard and that pall bearers may attend my funeral and that a rail be placed round my grave stone. I give and bequeath to Mary Moore of Tewkesbury aforesaid, spinster, the sum of one hundred pounds. I also give and bequeath to Thomas Weaver of Tewkesbury aforesaid, auctioneer the sum of one hundred pounds. I also give and bequeath to Miss Jane Anne White of Tewkesbury aforesaid, daughter of the late Reverend Charles White ------- vicar of Tewkesbury, the sum of fifty pounds. I also give and bequeath to my late servant, Diana Clarke, wife of Charles Clarke of Longdon in the county of Worcester, the sum of nineteen pounds nineteen shillings and I request that she will take the charge and care of my dog after my decease. I also give and bequeath to my present servant Elizabeth Bradley, if she shall happen to be in my service at my decease, the sum of ten pounds. I also give and bequeath to Elizabeth Burrows the servant of Mrs James of Gloucester Row in Tewkesbury aforesaid, the sum of ten pounds. I also give and bequeath to the said Thomas Weaver the sum of two hundred pounds upon trust that the said Thomas Weaver, his executors or administrators do and invest the same in his or their name or names in any of the private stocks or funds of Great Britain or upon government or real securities in England, with power to vary the said stocks. funds or securities at his or their discretion, do and shall pay the annual income of the said trust monies, stocks, funds and securities to Ann Holland of Tewkesbury aforesaid, widow, during her life for her own sole and absolute use and benefit, and after her decease do and shall pay or transfer the said trust monies, stocks, funds or securities to the said Mary Moore, the sister of the said Ann Holland for her absolute use and benefit. I give and bequeath to Mary Moore Weaver my ----- ring set with pearls and opal. I give and bequeath to the said Thomas Weaver my gold watch and diamond ring and one of the two silver goblets which formerly belonged to my deceased brother. I give and bequeath to William ---------- of Twelve--------- Road, Saint John's Wood in the county of M iddlesex, the other silver goblet which formerly belonged to my said brother for the use of the Presbyterian Church of Saint John's Wood aforesaid. I give and devise my messuage or tenement situate at the upper end of Scotts Alley in Tewkesbury aforesaid and now in the occupation of -------- -------- with the appurtenances, to the said Thomas Weaver, his heirs and assigns for ever, subject nevertheles to, and charged with the payment to the said ------- ------- of the weekly sum of one shilling during her life and which weekly sum I desire may be paid or allowed to her other weekly or at such other periods or in such other manner as the said Thomas Weaver his heirs or assigns, that in his or their discretion think most advisable. And as to my other messuages or dwelling houses with the appurtenances and all the rest, residue and remainder of my real and personal estate, chattels and effects of whatsoever kind or description or whether in ----------- remainder or expectancy with their rights and appurtenances. I give, devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof and all my estate with title and interest therein and thereto respectively, unto the said Thomas Weaver, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns according to the different natures and qualities of the said residuary real and personal estates respectively for his and their own absolute benefit. And I appoint the said Thomas Weaver sole executor of this my will and request that he will on my decease present to my medical attendant Mr. William Key Tunnicliff of Tewkesbury aforesaid, surgeon, my silver cup which was presented to my late brother on the 11th June 1810. I witness whereof I have hereunto signed my name this sixth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one. Ann moore.
