This is the Last Will and Testament of me, Ann Read of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, spinster. I give to my servant, Elizabeth Ann Burford a gown to be selected by herself from my wearing apparel. The rest of my wearing apparel I give to Mrs. Mary Bomford of Westmancote and Mrs. Katherine Bomford of Kinsham to be equally divided between them. And all the rest and residue of my estate and effects after payment of my just debts , funeral and testamentary expenses I give to my friend Peter Osborne of Tewkesbury aforesaid, grocer, and I appoint the said Peter Osborne sole executor of this my will in this twenty third day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and forrty five.
