| In the name of god amen the 24th day of April of the year of our lord 1543 I, John Davis, priest, sick in body and whole in mind, order and make this, my present testament and last will, in manner and form hereafter following. First, I bequeath my soul to Almighty God and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Tewkesbury. I bequeath the rest of my goods to Robert Keen and Margery his wife, to dispose for the wealth of my folk and I make my joint executors Robert Keen and Margery his wife. These with Roger Boyne and William Minemot. Item, to master Toneys for ale twelve pence. Item, to Thomas Arkells eleven shillings and six pence. Item, to Daniel Wyttenton for --- six shillings. Item, to Elizabeth my ----- six pence. |
