In the name of god amen, the year of our lord god one thousand five hundred forty and five, the eighth day of January. Witnesseth that I, John Peres of the town of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, yeoman, being sick in body but in perfect mind and remembrance, make this my last will and testament in form and manner as hre after followeth. First, I bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty god and my body to be buried in the parish church of Tewkesbury. Also I bequeath to John Peres the tithe of Oxenton after the decease of Alice, my wife, during the years of my lease. Also I bequeath to Edmond Peres the tithe of Pamington after the decease of Alice, my wife, during the years of my lease and a messuage lying in Barton Street within the said town of Tewkesbury containing three quarters of a burgage. And I bequeath to Elizabeth Peres my house in Barton Street now in the tenure of James Flower. The reidue of my goods unbequeathed, my debts and funeral discharged, I give and bequeath to Alice, my wife, who I ordain and make my sole executrix of this my last will and testament, the year and day above said.
