Last Will and Testament of Richard Bayliss of Tewkesbury. Yeoman.

This is the last will and testament of me, Richard Baylis of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, yeoman, for the disposition of that estate wheerewith I am blessed. First, I direct and order all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid and discharged by my executrix hereinafter named. I give to my dear mother, Ann Bayliss of Pembridge in the county of Hereford, widow, the sum of twenty pounds and to my brother Benjamin Bayliss of Bewdley in the county of Worcester, cordwainer, the like sum of twenty pounds to be paid them respectively by my executrix within twelve calendasr months next after my decease. I also give to my said brother my wearing apparel of all sorts ( except my watch ) and I give and bequeath unto my dear wife, Susan Bayliss, all the rest, residue and remainder of my money, securities for money, goods, chattels, effects and personal estate of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever being, and do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of October in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven,
