In the name of God Amen I, Sarah Hatton late of Tewkesbury in the County of Gloucester, spinster, being sick in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, God be praised ,do make this my last Will and Testament. First I bequeath my Soul to God that gave it in hopes of a Joyfull resurrection by the merits of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer. And as for my Estate I dispose of it as followeth. Imprimis I give and bequeath unto the poor within the Town of Tewkesbury forty shillings. Item I give forty shillings towards the repairs of Tewkesbury Church. Item I give to William and Mary Yernall thirty shillings apiece. Item I give to Mr John Matthews, Minister, of Tewkesbury, forty shillings to buy him a ring. Item I give unto Elizabeth, Ann and Mary Denny of Tewkesbury twenty shillings apiece. Item I give unto Mrs Denny, mother of the said Elizabeth, Ann and Mary twenty shillings. Item I give unto my cousin Thomas Lovering five pounds. Item I give unto my cousin Katherine ---- the sum of five pounds. Item I give unto my uncle and aunt Berkley twenty shillings apiece. Item I give unto my cousin Susanna Berkley twenty shillings. Item I give unto my cousin Joseph Clarke and his wife twenty shillings apiece. Item I give unto my cousins Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary Peirson twenty shillings apiece. Item I give to William Steight and his wife of Tewkesbury twenty shillings apiece. Item I give unto my cousins Mary, Sarah and John Hale twenty shillings apiece. Item I give unto my cousin Thomas Lunn? twenty shillings. Item I give unto my cousin William Buckle and his wife twenty Shillings apiece. Item I give unto my uncle and aunt Mathews twenty shillings apiece. Item I give unto my cousins Thomas, Timothy, Samuel and John Mathews twenty shillings apiece. Item I give to my brother and sister Mathews twenty shillings apiece. All the rest and residue of my Estate both reall and personal I give, devise and bequeath unto my dear sister Elizabeth Hatton and do hereby appoint her the said Elizabeth Hatton my whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. And in case of her death I do hereby appoint my loving uncle Timothy Mathews my whole and sole Executor In witness whereof, I, the said Sarah Hatton have hereunto set my hand and seal thist thirteenth day of December Anno Dni one thousand six hundred and ninety four Sarah Hatton.
