Last Will and Testament of Thomas Millard of Tewkesbury. Tailor.

In the name of God amen this thirteenth day of December Anno Ind.one thousand six hundred and forty nine I, Thomas Millard the elder of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, tailor, being sick in body but of perfect memory and mind (Thanks be given to Almighty God) do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker and redeemer, and my body to be buried in Christian burial.Item, I give and bequeath to my eldest son Thomas Millard the sum of five shillings. Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth the sum of five shillings. Also my will is to give to my daughter Mary the sum of five shillings. Also I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Millard the sum of five shillings. Also I give to Methushelah my son the sum of five shillings. And my son George Millard five shillings. Also I give and bequeath to my son Robert Millard, my daughters Isabel, Margery and Margaret five shillings apiece. And my will is that my executrix hereinafter named do pay all the several legacies above named to every legatee within half a year next after my decease. Provided the said legatees do give my said executrix a funeral acquittance for every several legatee. And I do hereby ordain and appoint my well beloved wife Isabel Millard my whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament . And to her I give and bequeath all the rest of my goods and chattells and debts yet unbequeathed whatsoever. And I do appoint for overseers of this my last Will and Testament my well beloved friend, Francis Little of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, freemason, and Jacob Walton? of the same town and county aforesaid, sailor. And for their pains taken herein I give and bequeath to them twelve pence apiece; And I do hereby revoke and ------ all other former will or wills whatsoever.
