Last Will and Testament of William Parr of Tewkesbury. Victualler.

In the name of God amen the third day of March Anno Dmi. 1649 I, William Parr of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, victualler, do make and ordain this, my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Maker and Redeemer by whose merits and death I believe I shall obtain eternal salvation, and my body to be buried in the parish church or churchyard of Tewkesbury aforesaid. Item, I give and bequeath to my sister Elinor five shillings. Item, I give and bequeath to my sister Mary four shillings. Item, I give to my two brothers Thomas and Henry Parr five shillings apiece. And I also give to my brother Henry my cloak without buttons. Item, I give to John Masfeld? and his sister Margaret two shillings sixpence apiece. Item, I give and bequeath to my brother Thomas his two children two shillings and sixpence apiece. Item, I give and bequeath to my son in law Richard Jefferies twenty shillings. And to my daughter in law Ann Channocke twenty shillings. Item, I give to my daughter Elizabeth Channocke twenty shillings and my will is that all these legacies and bequests be paid to the said legatees by my executrix hereinafter named within one twelve month next after my decease. All the rest of my goods, cattels and chattels, with my debts and monies yet unbequeathed and also ---- annuities or yearly rent of thirty shillings due to and out of the income of William ------- of Elesfield or Eldersfield in the county of Worcester for the time to come and yet unexpired of the said annuity to my wellbeloved wife Alice Parr whom I do hereby make and appoint my whole and sole executrix of this my Last Will and Testament. And I do hereby revoke and --------- all other former wills and testaments whatsoever and I do appoint for overseers of this my Last Will and Testament my wellbeloved friends Richard Turberville of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester, baker, and Thomas Deakin? of the same place in the county aforesaid, glover, and I give them for their pains for being herein twelve pounds apiece. In witness hereunto I have put my hand and seal on the day and year first above written. William Parr.
